Terms and Conditions

 

Welcome to Lone Star Zip Lines (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, services, and any zip line installations we provide. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services Provided

Lone Star Zip Lines specializes in the design and installation of residential zip line systems across Texas. All services are custom-built for each client property.

2. Eligibility

Our services are available only to individuals 18 years or older who can legally enter into binding contracts under Texas law.

3. Estimates & Proposals

  • All project estimates are provided in good faith based on property details and site assessments.
     
  • Final pricing may vary depending on terrain, engineering requirements, materials, or changes requested by the client.
     
  • Written proposals are valid for 30 days from the date issued.
     

4. Payments

  • A deposit is required to secure scheduling and begin procurement of materials.
     
  • Remaining balance is due according to the terms outlined in your proposal or contract.
     
  • We accept payments via approved methods listed in your invoice.
     
  • Failure to pay may result in suspension of work or legal collection efforts.
     

5. Safety & Use

  • Lone Star Zip Lines designs and installs systems using industry safety standards (including ACCT principles) and professional-grade materials.
     
  • Once installed, the client assumes full responsibility for safe use, supervision, and ongoing maintenance of the zip line system.
     
  • Zip lines are inherently recreational and carry risks of injury. By using the system, you acknowledge and accept those risks.
     
  • Children must be supervised at all times while using the system.
     

6. Warranties & Limitations

  • We warrant our workmanship for 12 months following installation.
     
  • This warranty does not cover: misuse, lack of supervision, normal wear and tear, weather damage, or modifications by others.
     
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lone Star Zip Lines is not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages arising from use of the zip line after installation and handoff.
     

7. Maintenance & Inspections

  • Regular inspections and maintenance are the responsibility of the client.
     
  • We recommend annual professional inspections to maintain system integrity and safety.
     

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website (text, images, graphics, and branding) is the property of Lone Star Zip Lines and may not be used or reproduced without permission.

9. Termination of Services

We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate services if a client violates these Terms or engages in unsafe or unlawful conduct.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be handled in courts located within [Insert County], Texas.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new “Effective Date.” Continued use of our website or services indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.


Return and Refund Policy

 

At Lone Star Zip Lines, every project is custom-designed for your property. Because of this, our refund and return policy is different from standard retail purchases. This policy explains how deposits, cancellations, and refunds are handled.

1. Deposits

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your project and schedule installation.
     
  • Deposits cover initial design, site planning, materials procurement, and scheduling costs.
     

2. Cancellations

  • Before materials are ordered or work begins: If you cancel, we may refund a portion of your deposit at our discretion, minus any design or administrative costs incurred.
     
  • After materials are ordered or work has started: Deposits and any payments already made are non-refundable, as costs have been committed.
     

3. Returns

  • Because installations are custom-built and permanently installed, we do not accept returns or offer refunds once the system has been delivered or installed.
     

4. Project Changes

  • If you request changes to your project after work has begun, additional charges may apply.
     
  • We will always provide an updated cost estimate for your approval before proceeding.
     

5. Workmanship Warranty

  • While refunds are not available after installation, we provide a 12-month workmanship warranty to cover defects in installation.
     
  • This warranty does not cover normal wear, misuse, weather damage, or post-installation alterations.
     

6. Exceptions

  • In rare cases (such as unforeseen circumstances that make installation impossible), we may provide partial refunds or apply payments as credit toward future work, at our sole discretion.
